BITFINEX Connection is Beta, so please let us know if you have any issues with it. It will be live by end of September.
Step 1 - Setting up an API Key/Secret on BitFinex
In order to connect to BitFinex, you must first create an API key and API Secret.
Log on to your BITFINEX Account
Go to the bottom of the page and click where it says "API keys"
At the bottom of the screen enter a name for the API Key "e.g. Jigsaw", then click where it says "Generate API Key"
Check your email, you should have received a message from BITFINEX
Click to create an API Key, you will then be redirected to a page that shows the keys. Copy them and keep them in a safe place, you will not be able to get them again later (but you can generate more keys).
Step 2 - Setting up the Connection
BITFINEX connections are set as follows:
Connection: The name of the connection - just something you'll remember it by.
Description: Optional - an additional description for the connection.
Application Key: The application Key you created in Step 1
Application Secret: The application Secret you created in Step 1
Server: PRODUCTION
Auto Connect: Check if you want this connection to connect automatically on start up
Auto Connect Sequence Number: The order of connection. If you have more than one connection that will connect on startup, you can specify which one you want to connect first.
If you are happy with the settings, then click "Ok" to save them and "Cancel" to exit without saving.
